Summer in Stockholm – Life in the Land of the Ice and Snow

As an American, I am often confused as to why no one thinks to loot the entire city of Stockholm in July. Everyone is gone on vacation. It’s actually a bit nice and a bit spooky at the same time.

Advantages to staying in town during the summer:

1. All laundry times are available.
2. No neighbors partying all night on the weekends.
3. Easy to get a seat on the subway.

Disadvantages to staying in town all summer:

1. Neighbors who left for a month and forgot to take out their trash.
2. Restaurants closed.
3. Bees! Aahhh! The bees!
